I retract my statement. I was wrong. Acetone is the correct chemical for preperation.

Yep, says so right on the can. No one reads the directions (including me). I ran into problems with it, and then started experimenting. After I found the solution, I read the can.

When all else fails, read the instructions.

A little late on this post, sorry, but I have used Rustoleum for plastic with no ill effects. Works as well as Fusion.

Use the green, then you can't see the algae as well .

I used rusoleum (it failed after a time, but can't be positive why) before fusion came out, no probs. with fusion.
