How often do you change your water, and how much?

Do you have a test kit? Can you get us the levels of the water chemistry?

What else is in the tank?

Live worms can carry bacteria and disease, and this looks like an internal bacterial infection known commonly as 'bloat'.

Check out the disease section of the forum for some tips posted by Oddball on how to cure this.

This could also be due to a sudden change in the water temperature. What is your temp at right now?

My buddy John swears by increased temps and adding salt to the water.

yeah from the way its floting i would say its some thing wrong with the digestive system a catheter in the cluacal vent would do the trick a sort of a fish enema you have to be carefull do no to be to rough on him. i would say try salt and rasing temp first if he dosent die then try the enema

will my azul's be OK?
Azul will be ok with a lot of salt. Go buy the 40-lb bag (blue plastic) from Home Depot. I add a cup of salt every 100 gallons when I do w/c. They're sensitive to chemical/medicine, though. How could you taste the water? :D It's yuck! :D I know it's a bad time to joke around, and I really sorry to see him like that. Best wish bud. Check your PM. Pretty much same info.

What tank size?
How often do you do waterchanges and how much at a time?
