Methylene blue, while having some awesome uses, don't think it's right for you. Methylene blue kills all beneficial bacteria, so it's great for just the eggs and the fry till they become free swimming, then the tank needs to be established again. IMO just hope for the best this spawn, and if it does t work out, be prepare for the next time.

I guess I have no choice! :)
I'll have to go pick up a small heater before their next spawn. Where can I find a heater for a 2.5g?

I saw some betta tank heaters in my lfs. I think those will work. They're flat and is set to heat up at a certain temp. Why don't u check ur lfs?

stress from outside and from tank-mates also make to parents eat the eggs! separate the parents to another tank if you want them to spawn and keep the fry!

He spawned with the other female in the tank. He takes turns with the two! Once a week(approximately) I get a spawn.
I took a little glass 2.5g thing, pulled the heater out of my shrimp tank, used hydrogen peroxide as an anti fungal...wanted to use that blue stuff but all the fish stores were closed. Put my air pump above it. Temp is set at about 81ish.
