:D I need a heater for my 125g I just set up, it's still cycling, and I need to put a heater in it before the fish go in. I'm looking at two different heaters, and I would like opinions, experiences, etc. on both of them if you have it to offer.

The first is the ViaAqua titanium heater. I like the price, and I've seen them in some of the tanks on here. A drawback is it doesn't have a guard to keep my ck from leaning on it.

The next is the JBJ True Temp digital titanium heater. I like the fact that it's digital and can keep a temp consistent to +/- .5 degree. The price is also a bit steep. But it has a guard on it.

If you don't like either of these, and can suggest a better heater, please write it and let me know!

So give me your opinions? What would you do?

get the new fluval E heaters. I love them. They have a micro processor build in.

fluval e series heater. has a screen showing actual temp. and has guard. also screen changes colour green - set temperature, blue - if temp goes below 3* of set temp and red - if temp goes above 3* of set temp

purcahsed some Fluval Mseries and they are not worth the $$, I know it's not one of your choices, just thought I throw that in incase you see a good deal on Fluval M300, they MSRP at 42.99, and online price is about $27.99.

I read that you can't fully submerse a fluval e. I like the fully submersible heaters, just so I don't "oops" and drown the thing.

You don't worry about the glass breaking with large predatory fish?
