Help me sex my EBJD + some questions

Jds are easy to sex. Ebjds however I have no idea. What I can tell you is that is one nice looking fish. Always liked the ebjd but have been afraid to try them due to their reported frailty.
To the ebjd experts out there, is it true that once they reach a certain size they become more hardy?
You know I just realized this thread was started a month ago. For some reason I thought it was started two years ago. ????
1 month update time. He/she always seems to know when i am about to snap the shot lol.
the vent kind of looks dark(but that could just be pigment) and pointy. But the fins seem rounded.
