I dunno how big he/she (it) is but i want to try to get it a mate, its very aggressive and id say about 6 inches. thanks for all the help in advance.

i hope so, i think I"m going to have to toss my Texas. Due to the the fact that i want this terror to develop It's bump? don"t know the proper name for it, he(?) is a year old and is a divided 55gallon. I'm upgrading to a 300 hopefully this summer.

the "bump" name your looking for is nuchal hump, not all male Gt's develop them, all fish are different, in fact very few saums ever get them. More likely in the amphilophus species of fish, such as Midas's but they also don't all get them.
saw one with the nuchal hump on Youtube looked amazing. Don't get me wrong i love my fish to death hes the only trooper to live threw every accident that could ever happen, hes quit the warrior and has killed a couple of fish. i used to feed him krill and only krill. now i vary his diet with floating pellets, blood worms and krill. hes a very jittery fish.
i think im going to hand over my Green Texas to my friend and let him have the whole 55g to himself, cause i cant seem to find him a suitable tank mate, the only thing he doesn't bother are my Danios. Any suggestions?
