So I have a 135 and I need some fish to put in it. I was pretty set on 2 oscars but I don't know what do put in there besides them. I was kinda thinking clown loache(s) or JD's. Any help is appreciated

the clown loaches will grow REALLY slow, and the Oscars will grow REALLY fast. the Clowns probably will not last to long with the Os. silver dollars are good, maybe severum or GT, some convicts or firemouths, just stuff that will fight off, or not be of interest to the Os.
I personally love my eartheater (g. 'altamira'; quite territorial, but mostly harmless and very sparkly and colorful) as an o tankmate in my 125. Can't go wrong with a severum as an oscar tankmate. I've never owned a JD, but I hear they're pretty bashful and tend to hide a lot.
In my 125 I tried a GT with my two adult oscars and woke up to find him with his face eaten off.
And FWIW, I'm having way more fun with my tank since I got rid of my huge, messy oscars. I like a wide variety and those two were really bearing down on the bioload and making it hard to try new things. But I only had room for one big tank, so I made it a revolving door thing and got rid of the o's.
