severum, pike, firemouth, geos.

I like the idea of pikes and severums, what are some kool pikes? could a orange pike live in a 65g by itself?

crenicichla menezesi, crenicichla proteus would work.

How would you "stalk" a fish tank? :grinno: -fyi, stock and stalk are two different words that have two completely different meanings.

Anyway, I agree with Loves severums, I'd go with a pair of sevs, they'd be perfect for that size tank.

the 36" length kind of sucks. i wouldn't do more than a wetpet in there and one that would max out at 8-10". you could prolly get away with a pair of salvini. i'd plant it and go with some dwarf cichlids. i just got some apistos and they are very cool. they're only about 1" now but they move all over the tank. because of the height you could do some angels or festivus. i'd stay away from severums, JDs, or GTs in a 36" tank

ya go with apistos,, if you want to breed them,, just get a tank divider ready for when they spawn,,or extra grow out tank... then you can add several other fish,, if you want too.. tetras etc..

what about pikes?

you could do a smaller sax species or dwarf pikes. i was wanting dwarf pikes for my tank but i couldn't find them any where
