yea i know........i know a couple of big fish guys in the area and we've been tryin to get one store to order some but can't seem to convince em........we'll see though...........
so i went to my lfs today to pick out the fish for my 90gal. they had small jags there and they never get them in so i couldn't turn them up........so i picked up a two inch jag and a three inch raphael cat for my other tank...........what do you guys think would be good tankmates for a jag in the long run for the tank? thanks for the help..........oh yea they had small fw barrcudas like rumblesushi suggested but i though they were pretty exspensive at $12.99 so i had to pass..........
theres not very many fish you can mix with a Jag. It really comes down to the personality of the fish. The Jags natural behavior will start to show around 7"+. In my tank I have a Jag and 2 oscars and a male convict plus 2 plecos. The Jag seems to be a grumpy fellow and doesnt like any fish around his flower pot. Their has been some aggression but just getting in eachothers face to challange one another, nothing serious. I would say to find something that wont get eaten when your jag gets monster size. My convict will one day be a tasty snack for my Jag if the con keeps provoking him. Good luck and let us know what you decide to go with!
