I have a Line 6 Spider II amp. I went to turn the amp on today and mess around with it, and the lights power up, but no sound comes out at all! My 2 yr old son likes to play with it a lot and will plug in instrument cables and stuff, but I didn't think it could harm the amp much since he didn't have a guitar attached to it. Anyways, does anyone know what could be wrong? Could there be a blown fuse inside that would cause this? nothing is stuck in the jack and I opened up the amp but I am unsure where to begin to look for the fuse. Any help is appreciated, but please give me advice unless you have experience in this. Thanks in advance:headbang2

could be the lead. try some new ones. or your input is shot, try and pull out the lead a fraction so it's kinda out but it's still in. see if you get a sound.

This should help! :D

Could be an issue with a connection in the back. First off.... look for any loose wires in the back, especially those that go to the speaker or the amp. I agree that is could be the input jack as well. Do you get any noise at all when inserting or removing the plug?

tried multiple cords and plugging them in partially and all the way in and still no noise at all. not even a hum or clicking sound when i turn it on or off.

could i have a blown fuse somewhere? or would that mean that nothing would power up?

look on the back there may be a knob or button, twist or push it in and see if it will unlock and come out.

I would say that there is a fuse blown, broken/ intermittent wire internally or it could be one of the mosfet chips have gone out. Sadly enough, you should try and google it.
