Whats a good monster fish for a 55 planning on keeping just one large fish.

Green Terror or Texas if you like cichlids. A few Gulper Catfish if you want oddballs. Those are just a few of the many possibilities. This topic comes up pretty often, so I would use the search option for more ideas.

you can get a arow, but i'll grow out of the tank in 6 month.

sO wat would be a largeish fish that could survive in a 55.

Survive and thrive are different things. Stick with the green terror or jd or texas for the cichlids (as said before). What do you like? cichlids, cats, oddballs? figure out what type of fish you like and then narrow it down from there.

55 is big enough for a couple piranha or a cool variety of plecos.
