HELP ME

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
6months. I dont have a testing kit right now but i put a heater and some rock salt today
Ypu didnt have a heater? What was the water temp? Do you heat the room?

What should i put in?
I put in some gravel last time, he started putting them in his mouth though he did spit it out
The picking up of gravel is normal. They need to keep busy by messing your stuff up. You can run it bare bottom like you are but give him a cave and something to play with plastic weighted plants so he can redecorate. One guy on here has marbles or something with his (sorry forgot the name) ive used ping pong balls with puffers before. Shells anything that wont hurt the fish would probably be good. Also switch it up from time to time they need to be "challenged".

Intelligent fish are difficult to keep. You need to interact with them regularly its almost like having a dog. That why they refer to stuff like flowerhorns and Oscars as wet pets more so then any other fish. Tetras are fish....oscars wet pet. There is a difference.

He had a heater but for some reason, it was taken out for awhile then I put it back. Im from the Philippines, so we are a tropical country and does not get cold here, with regards to your “heat the room” question.

Ooooh okay! I will put back the gravel or maybe get him a new cave. The cave I have here for my other aquariums might be too small for him to play around with. THANK YOU!!!

Does not look like enough surface agitation. The little bubbles in the first pic are not even breaking the surface and it doesnt look like any water movement anywhere.

Are his scales pinconing? (Lifting away from his body)
I can’t tell if it’s just how his head is, but the scales look bumpy.
What has his poo been like?
