A guy told me he had a big pacu he didnt want anymore and asked if i would take it. I asked how big and he said Oh, about a foot long. Dude's got a huge foot! It must have grown 8" on the way. I got a 20" red belly pacu in my little pond now. Please, someone come get this thing before I ask the Asian guy down the street if he wants to eat it.

Bump....hopefully someone can help you out...yeah they can get a lil over 2ft long. Not a small fish at all. Its a tough situation b/c alot of Pacus are sold under the impression they dont get big. Ignorance huh...Good Luck on your situation...;)

None of the LFS here have big enough tanks for it and the Zoo already has a few pushing 3'.
 
Well i got great news. I found a home for the big fish and got myself a free 4" Texas cichlid! The RBP spent the night in my little 200-300g pond and just went to a guy with a 240g who wanted 1 big fish. He had a few sa/ca cichlids he just sold off and had one left over so he gave it to me!

Heres some pics on the fish. It's the best i could do, it was pretty hard to hold.
