The orange suction cup handles were $4 a piece at harbor freight tools and made moving the tank a snap!

I'm pretty sure that if I slide the passenger seat forward and lay it down I can get the tank fully into the car. The stand is going to look just like that. :)

And yep, that was me James. You're in for sure? Probably only need like 30min to an hour tops of your time.

It is amazing what you can haul with a Subaru. I took a 90G and stand up to Justin's place in mine - no problem with the door closed. Here is a picture of my Forester with a 750G fiberglass tub i picked up off CL.

Sorry for the derail, but since all the Willamette Valley people seem to be checking out this thread - What about an Oregon meet this summer? Seattle is a bit far for me, as we have a baby due this spring. Portland seems like the logical choice, but we could even go South (Corvallis or Eugene) since those people are furthest from Seattle.

Funny, if it is PUG aka Jeff I drove down to Portland to sell a H. carpintis Escondido to him a couple years ago. I didn't put two and two together.

Yep, they are one in the same. Jeff, aka - "Pug" is a really great guy. I am bummed he is moving :(

So Jamie if we have you and I riding in your wagon, then James can meet us at Jeff's assuming he will help us load we should be good to go getting the tank to your place? You and I can muscle it onto the stand with just the two of us. That sound good? I have tie down straps I can bring in case we can't lose the back.

I think that's a plan. I have tie down's as well, though I'll be using them to keep the stand attached to my roof. I've got rope and blankets too...

I've only had my Subaru for 4 months but I really enjoy it! Was awesome up in Northern Idaho in -5 degree weather and a couple feet of snow. Though I wish the back was just 6" longer so I could sleep in it stretched out. my 5' 1" fiancee has no issues though...

Thanks Jeff for the tank, and James and Justin for helping to get it all loaded and unloaded. It fit in the Subaru and I could almost close the hatch. Real smooth procedure. Now I just need to move where I can set it up...

Your welcome Jamie! Funny we've all bought/sold fish and equipment to one another and never knew it. Small world this is. Thanks for the ride and GL with the new tank!
