Three days may not be enough for the silicone to fully set if it was applied in a thick layer. I always suggest a week to cure completely, but that is more my warm and cozy feeling.
Something tells me that there is something else going on if it leaked in the exact same spot. I would start checking the stand and the supports to see if there might be an issue that is putting undue stress on the tank.
