your goona need meds. i had a small 6-8" black start with the same symptoms, ragged fins then appetite fell to nothing, eventually all his fins basically were gone and bloody body. from the first sign of trouble to death was 1 week. clean water, heat, and salt did nothing.

Man, I really hope my aro doesn't have whatever that was. If he doesn't start getting better what kind of meds do you recommend??

cant really tell ya for shure, as i failed to use meds on my black. but i have used jungles tablets with great sucess with many other fish. if i got to have a "redo" on my black i wouldve used jungles fungus clear tablets, they treat fungal/bacterial sickness.

I'd almost rather try melafix first as I know it won't hurt the other fish in my tank. Will jungle tablets risk the health of the other fish in my tank??

Sorry for bombarding you with question but you have me kinda worried here lol. Did you have a strong current in your tank prior to this happening? What was your water change schedule?

never had the med harm any other fish. strong current,no. wc schedule atleast 50%weekly.
