HELP my giant gourami

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you can isolate the fish, it'd be better. What I usually do is move my fish to a smaller tank so I don't have to use/buy that much meds. Remove the carbon in the filter and just follow the directions on the box. I think it's 1 packet for every 10g. I personally will buy enough for 2 treatments, just in case.

any another alternative meds in case im not able to find furan-2

raise the temp a few degrees and add some salt to the water to stimulate slime production... Fish stop eating from stress as well as poor water quality.

25% water change per week might not be enough for your tank w/o a test kit....25% is no hard and fast rule....but it's better than 10% :headbang2

Salt bothers scaleless fish ,add at 1 teaspon per 5 gallons, premix before adding to the tank...I add mine through the sump. watch for signs of distress.
