1st off sorry about ure animal man.by that pic its a toad not a pac man frog, not sure what precisely to do but i recomend daily water changers ,and just keep him away from any potential bacterial infections.

very sorry about your illness-nothing apparent to me except that that frog needs to be in an incredibly sterile environment. Open sores like that are very prone to bacterial or fungal infection, if it isn't already infected. I suggest switching to a sterile, laboratory grade bedding.

wow, id think he would know if he had a pac man frog or not. just keep up the water changes. did you feed any lg mealworms? they can eat threw the stomach if they are too large

dude if u look closely at the pic u can see its a toad.and the mealwork thing is a myth .the worms die within min afther being swallowed.

or one of the many horned frogs commonly called "pac man". ceratophrys cranwelli. thanks for the water change idea, but he spends no time in his dish and has not for the over 2 years i have had him. he just burrows deep in his coco peat reptile bedding. i will put some new stuff in there tomorrow. does anyone know if any human meds mite help or are even useable, maybe a bit of polysporin?it is a fairly raw sore, but does not appear to be infected.

not so sure on the human meds.i think theres a few amphibian meds avaible.main thing is to try to keep things sterile.

damn man, thats a pretty nasty sore and the only thing i can think of is make sure his cage is sterile and i would apply some iodine to the sore.... i think you should pm guppy if you have enough posts, i would look this up for you but im a little buys;)
