I don't know why my pacu's skin is peeling off to the point that you can see the inner skin....I've tried to put parasites medication in the aquarium and i'm 25% water change everyday but it's still getting worse...i've done researches on the internet but cannot find anything like this...
All these started happening from when i moved him from a 50 gal aquarium to a 70 gal one...I know this is not the recommended aquarium size for a pacu , i was going to get a pond build for him in a few months .... please help:(

He passed away at 11" about 2 weeks after I noticed the problem. But I came home from a long vacation to see this so you may have more time than I did. My tsn got this from a dead pleco that was in my tank for over a week that my friend never saw(smelled and looked horrid) Any recent deaths in your tank?

I know Aquanero always helps me with fish medical problems whenever I post. Hopefully he will log on soon or someone else that can help you out comes along. Long live the pacu!

Post your tanks water test readings please I know people ask for that first usually when diagnosing a fish.

How sad..No, i dont know if this has any relation with my pacu's state but i've seen my pleco sucking on him.I moved the pleco to another thank because this seemed unusual and weird . And my Oscar ( whose tail you can see on the picture ) is staying at the bottom of my tank for around a month and it seems like he is having problems swimming, luckily he is eating and you can only see him swimming to eat and that's all.
I hope as well...Thanks for trying to help. Long live the pacu !
