Hey i got this pike from my lfs and i notice this wound on him. Could you guys give me some pointers on how to help him heal? I put him in my "hospital" tank and turned up the heat and add some salt. Can i do more to help his wound it is on both sides of his body? Can you guys tell me if i am write by identifying him as a Johanna?

well you could add melafix it will add much in the healing process shouldn't take no longer then a couple days if done right.(remember to take out the carbon) keep the water clean as possible so as not to cause any secondary infections. other then that goodluck! looks like to be a bite from another fish im guessing?
You should put Melafix, like the first guy said, but also some Erythromycin, form API in there to help out the wound. It worked wonders for my fish.
It's totally a Belly Crawler, that's an awesome pike that stays small around 7"-9", but packs a punch! Super hardy should heal up with just clean water and salt.
