HELP!!!!! my ray got bitten up

i have my male and female motoro in a 125 right now with a geophagus brasiliensis,geophagus dicrozoster, and a red head. my female motoro is bittem up on her disk like real small bites. like 2 or 3. and my male has one now to. i also have two spotted gars. WHO IS THE CRIMINAL TO SUCH A CRIME. HE WILL DIE. na im play'n but i sepperated them now n just have the rays on there own.the geos i got off some one on the site who had them with a ray n they seemed fine. idk what to dooo. i think i might just sell the geos now..... i cnt risk it.!!!!
 
more than likely the rays are trying to breed, what size are they and is the male matured yet?
 
around 7 inch and the male around 8. i dnt think he is......
 
Yes I have not heard of that either, but you never know the female may bite back out of defense.

only heard of geo going after the eyes, not the disk.
 
try uping your feeding, sometimes when rays are hungry they get agitated and get more agressive toward each other
