all of this happening together is probably not a coincedence. its more of a sign that you NEED to get that bigger tank, and soon. These fish are under so much stress right now.
Salt in the water and raise the temp's up a little, it should do fine for the ich and also help with everything else.
Turn tanks up to 85 for 2 weeks (kill the ick) This and salt will do. In have never mixed pila/mela one is for one thing the other is for another. The rid ick is my recomendation. I know someone with more exp. than me has read this but that is my oppinion. The rid ick is blue and will dye your tubing and seals. It went away eaventually on my tanks. The pros would never do this to their tanks, and their hospitals are bigger than most of our main tanks. they would use there hospital and be done with it. If you dont care med it up! Like i said mine cleard after a couple months and only you would notice! Sometime when you change your water if you chill your fish it is just bad news. How do you age water? do you age your water? How old is the tank? it could be cycling. The other fish getting ick says it could just be ick. I have also used gel tech erythramiasin and pennicillon it is a gel that you can use with meds. let me know if any of this helps!
my tank is about 8 months and done cycling. I use dechlorinator for my water that i set do the temp of my tank (currently 80 F). And I think I might turn it up a little more...
Unfortunately my RD died
And my Jack is showing it now.
I almost have my 150 set up, but I dont know if I should wait until my fish are better... Also my 150 isn't cycled yet, so either I would have to add them slowly or fishless cycle the tank which would take longer...
