ive tried nearly eveything
bloodworms, frozen and dried brine shrimp, flakes, mini pellets i even added garlic salt for flavor.
he is the replacment for the first one so this is my last chance....
the royals arent expensive for me only like 8$ tax in, i just want him to grow huge so he can chase my clown knife around in the 150g that would be sweet...

did you just get him if so he is probly just getting use to his new home
give him time he will come around

mike

ive had him for 3 days now and he is solo in a 25 gallon tank, i took out my 15" pleco thought maybe that was scaring him. ill post in a few days if nothing changes.

WOW so you had a 15in pleco in a 25:screwy: . try some rosies and ghost shrimp

Try Krill freeze dried or frozen, earthworms, silversides.

I had a clown knife that was started on feeder comets, an I starved him till he ate frozen krill, then I started mixing it up from earthworms, krill, carnivore pellets, finnally I had him eating strips of tilapia fillet.

I have had my royal for years and she suddenly stopped eating as well. I was really worried because usually she is a pig. Then just as suddenly about 10 days later, she started eating normally. I would not worry yet.

its a baby knife only 2" + there are baby guppys in the tank like 1/4" ones and he dosent seem to like them neither does the clown. but the clown got very territorial when i added the royal so i added the clown (7") into my 150g with my 4 oscars

He is a little guy! Does he have a pipe or cave hiding place that he likes? When my guys were little they each had a small pvc pipe. I used frozen bloodworms (the ones frozen in a small square shape) and placed them inside the pipe so they would not float to the top. I could usually get them to eat these. They did not start eating the small tank mates until they were 4-5".
