help my royal isnt eating!

well the little guy is dead o well hopefully i can find some more healthy types of knifes
my ck i got from the same store is doing very well bought him the same size as the small guy two months ago and hes already 6"
anyways thanks for the sugestions i will keep that in mind next time i purchase a fish although i think the next fish i get is going to be a native fish a northern pike or muskie they are monsters!

sounds to me like your knife had other problems other than eating. Most healthy fish will eat somthing before they starve themselves to death. In my experience royals are alot more fragile than regular clowns. I have lost 3 but all were eating. I think they are have a genetic flaw that makes them weaker but thats just my opinion. sorry about the loss though. just keep trying I finally got one to live and he's pushing 17" now and WAY cooler than a regular clown.
