HELP MY RTC!!!!

for the past few days my red tailed cat has been spazing and rubbing himself on the bottom rock. i checked att the ph amo. nit. and there all fine. thne tday i wake up and he has this milky white film all over his body. i put some quickcure. i think thats what its called i dont havw the bottle infront of me. hoping it might me ick or somehting.please help!!!!

Sounds like Ich, or Velvet, not sure about RTC's though never had one, but i would check into either of those.

A quick note on any meds you use, because catfish are scaleless you need to use them at half dose.
I would do a 30% water change and ad salt, up the temp a bit too.
Do another water change between 12 and 24 hours, keep that up to make sure water is good, specially if that slime coat starts sluffing off. What kind of filtration are you running?

sadly he passed. im using a penguin 350 bio wheel. im so dam pissed.

FYI.....The milky thing might been his slime coat shed. Any meds should wait intill AFTER you do a salt Bath on the fish. And use 1/2 dosage on scale less fish.
