my lapradei's experiencing the same thing too. It's like partial of the skin start to tear of half way on the face..like some zombie flick.
Anyway, I isolated her away and her face was back to normal except the eyes. They remain "solid white" ever since. And I believe that the body slime coat wears off too the first time she got infected. Her fins starts to deteriorate the next day after putting her back to the main tank.
She still remains strong...
