HELP!!!! MY SEVERUM HAS ICK!!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 3'' Severum has a lot of ick on him. What should I do???? I am going to do a 50% water change and add some salt. What else??????? Thanks to all help.

bump the temp to 85 dagrees and add more air stones.

exactly, raise the temp and add the proper amount of salt, the difficult part is the wait

yeah the waiting sucks.... i hate ick...its like having a sick kid... if you caught it early it should be no problem...you just have to let it take its course and be patient..pay close attention.

Ok I went out and bought a heater. I add salt, and ick medicine. the temp now is 59.

59 degrees?! it should of been around 75-80 in the first place if I'm not wrong

59??? You need that up to 85. Everything else listed above should do the trick. Good luck

59????? Are you serious? This the sev you've been showing off about here and on AC? No wonder the poor thing has ick........temp needs to be at 75 minimum normally!!!! Did you reallyl not know this? What about all the other fish you have - please get heaters in all your tanks!!

Get heat up to 84 and add 2 tsp/gallon salt to treat for ich, and wait, as people said....but seriously, do a little research on fish before you keep buying them! You didn't know you'd need a heater for tropical fish in November in MAss.?

is it 59 degrees celsuis if not then your stupid because thats way to cold how long have you had this severum without it dying
