my acara got ill, i thought it was just an infection by the base of his fin, ive been treating with tetracyclene and he has gotton much better, but now that the swelling has gone down i can see there are two white dots, or small protusions on either side of the afffected fin, and now, my severum in my main tank is showing the same small white protusions, i thought it was anchor worm but ive looked at pics and i really dont think so, but since it is on the exact place on both fish now im not sure what it is, can anyone help, heres some pics of the acara, ill try to get pics of the severum a little later

I can't remember what exactly that is. But I notice something else. Your fish Has HITH, Hole in the head disease. Hith is often caused by stress and small crowded tanks.

well hes not in a small crowded tank, but he was the one getting beat up on the most, so, hes kinda had trouble since i got him. thats the only reason i can think of he has hith, my water is 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and 5ppm nitrate in my 125 where he was, but, any opinion on what his fin thing is, please help

damnet, he was the one i was standing at the fish store debating whether to get him or not, i obviouslly made the wrong decision

right now ive got him in my qt tank, treating him with tetracyclene, its just a 10 gallon, but its all ive got

these pics arent good cause she keeps hiding, but here is my female sev, you can see two white "things" protruding from her skin at the base of her fin, anyone know what it is
