just keep the water extra clean, up the temp, in addtion to the salt you added, it should heal in due time

What is the current water temp(good idea to know this BEFORE advising to raise it:screwy:) What are you water parameters, such as ammonia, nitrite? Poor water conditions can cause cloudy eyes, but if your water is pristine then you may need to medicate.

You can try remedies such as salt, 1 tblspoon per 5 gallons water or melafix. Myself I treat with melafix and daily 50% water changes. If it doesn't clear in a couple days then medication is needed.

You can also add prime (if you have it). They say that it converts ammonia to nitrate (which I think is the usual cause of cloudy eye). Increasing water changes to at least 50% a week would also be a good idea. I do 50% changes (because of the rays) every second or third day. I love my python.
