I don't know why the cat has suddenly started doing this and I'm surprised that it does since it likes to nap on my sons bed.I do know that if the cat does not stop I will be forced to turn it in....Will getting him neutered make a difference?

how old is it? that might help, but more likely if done before they start a habit marking a territory.
cat piss is the worst.
TBH, any cat I ever had with that tendency could not be turned around. but it can be caused by a health issue too.

Shut it out of his room? They make sprays that keep them away.

our small dog, that I took in for intestinal problem was having pissing accidents long before the other stuff, and immediately stopped when started on the medication. if I miss a dose she has an accident. it's the one with the bacterial infection which I suspect she got from licking my water from tank changes out in the garden.

Could be marking territory or wanting to some well you know. I can't say cause of little ears and eyes... I had a male cat that would sleep in my 29 stand then he started peeing under the stand I got him neutered.

Have you switched his litter brand, I made a switch to save a buck. My cat repaid the favor by using my master closet. Plus 1 on the spray, they make it for dogs too. Don't know what's in that stuff but man, you spray and they stay away, hands down. On to fixing the cat, there's a difference between him spraying and urinating. If he's spraying, or "marking", then yes fixing him will help. But if he's simply doing his business there probably not. But it never hurts to fix a cat. Way to many strays out there.

We had this problem with my girlfriends cat peeing on the sofa and we worked out that she is just really fussy about her litter box, we was scooping it every day and replacing it every week but now we have to scoop it 2-3 times a day and replace it twice a week, its a pain but she hasn't done it since :)

Besides the peeing I don't mind him going into the room as my son enjoys having him around.I suspect it will start to mark another spot if it no longer has access to the room....Im not sure how old Kenny is but it is a young adult,if that makes any sense lol.I'm kind of leaning toward territory marking and hoping that getting him "fixed" will put a stop to the bed wetting.

When I got my cat if he did anything like that I would shout at him or put him outside, now he knows not to pee everywhere
Lol well I won't put him outside....yet but I don't have a problem yelling at him WHEN I catch him in the act of doing something wrong.
