whats your ammonia at? nitrate? nitrite? How frequent are your water changes? I really am stumped. But it would only help to know this information..

I do 1/5 water change twice a week, ammonia level is normal, but not sure about nitrite, need to buy a kit to check

Yea, few peacock bass, but they never attack or bother the ray

if so, i would hope for some kind of growth defect so to speak or something of that nature??

Are his eyes cloudy? If so, check your ammonia and start considering an antibiotic for internal parasites.

Can you rub his skin off with your finger? Is it sloughing (sluffing)? I would set up a hospital tank fast, bare bottom, cycled filter, fresh water, good heat.
