The best treatment would be an injection of the proper antibiotic.

Treat with kanamycin and furan 2. It appears to be an aeromonas type infection. I would feel better about a recommendation if you had provided the pH in your tank but this should work.

Do you have a hospital tank? How big is this fish. What is your Ph?

this is around 17" yes. what could it be?
