Help needed, Dovi sex, advice wanted?

Again like all cichlids individuals can vary greatly. With the three males I kept they didn't bother other fish that weren't considered a threat. Over the years I have had dovii live with many species, generally if its substantially smaller My males ignored it.
Examples would be, Nics, convicts, Polleni, cubans, Synsplium, texas, festae, rtcxtsn, asian arowana, buttikoferi, midas, jaguars, freddies, mota, jewels, jds and more that im no doubt forgetting.
I found with two of the males until something reached a similar size they weren't harrassed but had to be removed once they did. One however wouldn't tolerate any other fish within it's aquarium (including females) once it grew to 14".
