I'm changin the water regularly from past 1 week and also adding salt and anti septic medicine. i have maintained the temperature also to 30 degrees. but its condition is not improving. could you guys help me out on this. i do not want to loose this big fish of mine. it has been with me for an year now. kindly suggest me anthing which could help me to improve her health.

PLEASE HELP !!

can you ask for the tank size and water change and feeding schedule

Hi this is manish, Nishant was talikg abut my Pearl Arowana.

Tank Size is 4 feet (L) X 1.5feet (W) X 2feet (H)
I feed Shrimps Twice daily
water change is 30% every week.

Please help me out soon buddies. and also tell me wat the exact problem is and whether it can be rectified and how long will it take for my fish to become proper.

if the gill surl has set in just now then it can be cured completely

what kind of filter and what is the filtration turn over rate
are there any tankmates
what are the water parameters

You have to keep it in pristine conditions . 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and as low in nitrates as possible.

Cut on the shrimp.

Check your tap water params.

is it possible to have it on only one side of the gill? i recently saw my jar missing the bottom quarter of his gill on one side but the other side is fine, gonan do a water cahnge right now

Its been around 15 to 20 days since it has happened. on changing the water regularly also i dont not find much of difference. I'm using an internal filter with capacity of 2000 ltrs Per Hour. and also an external filer with capacity of 1000 Ltrs P.Hr...

I have kept 2 Small Oscras with my arowana, only for the purpose of eating up all the mosquito larve.

I do not know how to check for the nitares and others.so pls help me in that.

If i stop feeding shrimps and start putting pellets then will it be ok? i know it will take lot of time for the fish to change its eating habbit but i think it might be because of the shrimps also.
