That's if u feed the RTC every day. I know the RTC grows very fast and I'm not a noob with RTC's...if I was I wouldn't of bought one. I have had a total of 4 RTC's from previous experiences, I grew 2 of them from 3" up to 20" in 1.5 years feeding them everyday in a 235g fiberglass tank. My current RTC is almost 10" and I only feed him twice a week. He grew from 3"-10" in 4 months. He should be fine for a few years in my 450gallon.
