Help needed with shark egg.

So I went to check out the shark egg today and found this stuff coming out of the egg. I was wondering what it is.

Don't know what that is but suggest a flashlight to see if there is movement.

There is no movement because it’s just a big yolk sac right now. The egg is pretty young and I can’t actually see the shark forming yet.

The embryo is very tiny and will move in a jerky like way. It's very critical not to move the egg case once it's in the hatchery. I hope the egg case didn't seperate.

I know what the embryo looks like but when it’s so small you can’t always find it.

The egg might not be fertile. The non fertile ones will start to leak and have a white residue around them. Even if the shark isn't big enough to see inside the egg, you should be able to see veins on the yolk pretty quickly if its fertile.
