I too am also sorry to hear about your black aro, while nothing can be done now, you may want to invest in PraziPro in the future. I had similar problem around christmas with my juvi black aro got beaten up badly by TSN and jar. I put him in a separate tank raised temp to 85-86 degrees, add melafix daily and prazi pro once a week. I also did 50 % WC every week.

He has gotten better the first week and after 4 weeks, he is now perfect as he can be. I believe the prazi pro and the higher temp help him heal faster..

I think that the large water changes, increased temp and melafix (in that order) helped the healing process. I believe PraziPro is an excellent, safe treatment, specifically for killing parasites but has no healing properties.
