erik i totally agree with you. i was trying to help a family friend with her tank setup, but she rinses off her bio media every other day cuz shes afraid it will "get dirty". so the tank is never fully cycled. its like banging your head against the wall, so i just answer questions for her instead of proactively bringing it up
