Help new to keeping fish..

Oh he wasYeah definately wait until your cycle is completed of farther along. I would say if you had a bigger tank pick up some convicts but they are a semi aggressive cichlid. But they are very nice looking fish. I have multiple tanks running all are central and south American cichlids. I prefer them. But stay with the community tropical fish till you get the hang of everything. They're very easy to care for and nice for just decorative tanks. The pic I bellow is of my 20 gallon tank for my convict pair, the last pic is of my one 55. Just to give you a idea of what you can do. Take your time and don't rush things or you will waste tons of money.

My tank has this 5 inch air stone and the water filtration system.
Do the water air stones shock the fish?It looks like a pretty violent stream of bubbles where do I place them?
Do I need them for the sunset Platys?(the air stones and pump)

You could get a smaller pump so their is not too much vilont water. yea i do recommend that platys should have them. if you have a filter with with that wheel in it that makes the filter airate the water more you might be able to get away with no pump.
I had a new circle of questions...
I used tetra safe water conditioner the package recommended one half tsp.
1. I bought the seachem conditioner that Was recommended by JteSchertz.
Should I use the recommended half capful of seachem and stability?Should I take out some water add some fresh tap and condition it?or condition water in another container of some kind?and take out the water from my tank in another container?
2.I Purchased 3 clown platys and 3 black mollys will these guys get along? i have 3 platy females 1 male and 2 black molly females and 1 male.Will they get along?

Well on my problem of a violent bubble stream I just put the air stones underneath the tank rocks.my tank temp is 82 what do I do to cool my tank?
I wouldn't worry about trying to cool it. It's not an extreme temp for those guys, and trying to quickly cool a tank could send them into shock. What temp is your heater set to?

I don't own a tank heater just yet I'm only on day 4 of my tank.I have central air/heat if that helps any..Ill get a tank heater soon.And outside weather is in the higher 90's.If any of that matters.
Just an update,
I Lost 3 of my four original sunset platy one female survived the one that was already prego.She looks pretty close to giving birth right now.The water wasn't ready for her friends but somehow she survived.When I realized she was ok and the water was correct I purchased 3 black mollys 2 fem 1 male and 3 mickey mouse platy 2 fem and 1 male.Now I have 5 healthy females and 2 males this should be interesting.
I purchased seachem prime I havent used it yet because I already used tetrasafe I wonder if this is correct..at least wait a week and switch out 1/3 of the water add more and use a small amount of prime?
I got a betta fish also he looks happy in his own tank right now..

I picked up sea prime and done a few water changes small ones since I've gotten the tank the 7 fish seem great the temp is steady at 80.
