hmm.... might have to make a day trip to SA. Do they take trade ins? I might just drive up there.

looks like it's approximately 4 hours away...

they do take trade in but G gives very low price for your fish. email him see what you can get first.
Email Bong at AS, he can help you ship the fish. I emailed G before on but he never got back to me regarding shipping.

Second thought on that, if you are driving up...should I keep the compressus for you?? :)

haha. We'll see what happens guys. I'm trying not to make a 8 hour round trip drive to find a home for him, but I'm not ruling out any possibilities right now. Whatever turns out to be best for Darwin and most convenient for me is the solution I'm gonna go with. Dankz your in the pole position when it comes to shipping. JP I know you baby your piranhas and I'd love for you to have him, but if I'm not mistaken, with 3 rhoms and a shoal of caribes on the way your lackin on space right now right?

the comp at SA for 99.99 is not mine. It's another one. I was just saying that 82$ to ship is a good deal when you consider you'd be payin 100 for the fish and then 82$ to ship. That's all. Like I've said a million times I just want a happy home for my killer.

well I have blue in 75g and the two black diamonds in the 180g splitted so that leaves me an empty 55g which I'm attempted to add maybe 4 caribes but everyone is telling me too small, lol (7 reds did fine in my 45g before but caribes are different animal so I don't know). maybe I'll just go with some reds if I want a shoal...or a wolf fish for something different. everything is still up in the air but if you couldn't find a good home before you leave and my tank is still empty I don't mind house your baby for you until you come back. if you would like to keep him of course.

awww man. That's awesome P. I may take you up on that if it becomes necessary. Your a lifesaver. You have no idea how much better I feel already just knowing that no scenarios include my euthanizing the fish at the moment. It was starting to worry me for real. The LFS backed out...

Chank, if he ships then it's yours, I'm not trying to steal the fish from you by all means. just give him an other option as backup in case nothing works out for him.

when are you leaving? in that case I'm just going to keep the tank available for you in the event you need a temp home for your fish.

i'm on a plane from LAX to bangkok thailand 8/1. I'll be out of my current place by 6/30. You will know something well before that. I am gonna run down some other LFS stores in the area first. I'm considering a craigslist ad, but the thing is you don't know who your dealing with on CL. I am open to shipping him, but I think he'd hate it and might die in transit. You know if you do end up keeping him, he has a tendency to grow on you. I've never kept a rhom but from what I hear comps are a good deal more outgoing, and he'll hunt right in front of your eyes. Matter o' fact sometimes he looks bored with feeders until you look at him, then he'll charge the glass a few times and then go searching for something to kill to entertain you. Pretty bad ass fish for a piranha.
