This may have been the issue. I wouldn't know if the temp. was the cause for the worsening issues. However, I do know for a fact that your temp. didn't help with your Auranti's health situation.
Rather than constant addition of meds into the water, frequent clean and cold water changes would've helped your Auranti's health. They're not so much a true tropical species as they are a sub-tropical species, so they'd actually benefit from cooler water.
I should know. When my Axolotl first came in, it didn't show much activity when it was at around 27 C. However, after about a month of water that, for the majority of the time, was below 24 degrees, it showed more activity and looked to be a healthier animal.
I only make this comparison because Axolotl's are coldwater animals. Whilst Aurantimaculata are sub-tropical, the cooling might have helped improve its health.
