My Oscar decided to eat my spotted catfish now he is in pain ( what it seems ) and he won't eat and lays on his belly barely moving .

This too shall pass. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully he hasn't suffered any internal damage from the cat but that is a descent size gut load to digest.

Wait it out.

The locked spines of a catfish eaten by a predator can cause a problem but it's usually right in the mouth or throat. If the catfish has gotten all the way down to the gut I'm hoping that all will be well. Nothing much to do now but wait and hope for the best. I'd avoid stressing the fish or encouraging him to move for at least a day or two to give the digestive tract a chance to soften up that catfish.

Good luck, that is a beautiful Oscar.

Thank you . He is a little more active today but still not interested in eating

It was a pictus catfish . About 2.5
Oh okay, hopefully the catfish's gill spines won't amount to more than a little discomfort while the fish is being digested.I wouldn't worry about the Oscar not eating for a few more days.
