PictusI'm assuming you mean pictus catfish? Or is it some spotted cory catfish?
It was a pictus catfish . About 2.5What exact species was the spotted catfish and how big was it?
Thank you . He is a little more active today but still not interested in eatingThe locked spines of a catfish eaten by a predator can cause a problem but it's usually right in the mouth or throat. If the catfish has gotten all the way down to the gut I'm hoping that all will be well. Nothing much to do now but wait and hope for the best. I'd avoid stressing the fish or encouraging him to move for at least a day or two to give the digestive tract a chance to soften up that catfish.
Good luck, that is a beautiful Oscar.
Oh okay, hopefully the catfish's gill spines won't amount to more than a little discomfort while the fish is being digested.I wouldn't worry about the Oscar not eating for a few more days.It was a pictus catfish . About 2.5
