I just used a black trash bag on the back of my tank... Worked fine for me, but painting it would probably have a more professional look. I might try it sometime.
Help Painting the Back Glass Black Please?

if you're trying to paint glass, and you want good results, you're going to have to sand it and spray it. I think you could get a lot cleaner look if you just tinted it with black film.
My black with the lights on turned out to not be as black as I thought it would be. Almost has a deep deep dark navy look to it. I think it could be blacker.
Like I said before, a while has gone by and I really don't like the black color I have. What did you guys use to get a deep deep true black? Did the person that mixed it for me just do it bad?
