My peacock eel has been hiding for a week now and finally came out but now doesn't eat bloodworms anymore what else can I feed him. He doesn't eat FD krill, shrimp,or bloodworms or market shrimp. I think that I want to stay on frozen food so.
Yeah for the most part no nibbing or anything but the eel hides about 90% of the time so their isn't really a chance. When he was out all the time when he was younger the oscar still didn't mess with him. Only aggression is when its feeding time for the eel.
I have a peacock and a fire eel.the peacock is very shy and will only eat earthworm's,i just wish he was as brave as my fire eel.He wiil come to top of tank at feeding time and will eat maggot's as well.
I've had a striped peacock eel for about 2 months now, and had the same problem with it at first. I swear by live blackworms now. She can't get enough of them.
