flower are very nice but i would say they get as big as tiger

some of the marble motoro i think are nicer than pearl rays

tiger and flower rays will be harder to breed than other rays

to tell the truth breeding rays is not that hard just give them good food good water plenty of space and time to mature to 2.5yrs+ along with the 2 females to 1 male and nature will do the rest

i wouldnt buy less than 2 female motoro to go with one male the more females the better

trios work better when trying to breed so get the 2 females now grow them on a bit then add a male 4-6 months later

i guess i could get a female marbled motoro, to go with my couple, and get a couple of flowers.
or i could only go with a couple of otorongos, but in this case i whould have to forget the marble motoro, otorongo is way mor expensive than the flower

what do you think?

or even the female marble and 3 hystrix, 1 male 2 females

or one more normal female motoro and 3 flowers one male 2 females

get the idea?

under a budjet ;)

if you only have 1 x female motoro with 1 male motoro get another female motoro asap or the male will kick crap out of the one female when he is ready to breed maybe even kill her

Im a little confused..You are trying to buy rays for yourself or a breeding project. The problem with the rays listed is that the only ones really worth money are the tigers, flowers, and scobina(if you can really get true scobinas) To actually breed any of the other rays, it would cost you more to run your place and feed and grow them, then you can get for the pups. If you want to do the breeding as a hobby, motoros are easy to breed, I had great luck with otorongos and other castexi... If you can "really" get scobina rays that would be your best bet. There prices have gone up due to the rare availability and they are known to be "easier" to get to breed. I am not a big fan of the 2 to 1 girl guy ratio thing but more 3:2. You can put 1 shy or non productive male in with 10 females and have no luck...see what I mean... I am not exactly sure if this answers your questions but.... to breed tigers and flowers would be very difficult. If you did successfully, you would be one of a handful to ever have done it.. so don't buy them counting on breeding. They are more for show than anything... Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions

I know the exact seller from peru your talking about and there not true scobina, honestly if you want my opinion I don't think you can make any money with any of the rays on your list there just not profitable at all. Motoro cost more between food and bills to make any profit and flowers and tigers are not a sure thing. You might want to rethink this with rays that are profitable. Otorango are easy to breed but I have found the demand is just not there to get any good money for the pups. If you do go along with your plan I would just stick to the sure things and get very nice oddball motoro and otorango.

THERE DEFINITELY ARE SOME NICE CASTEXI VARIENTS OUT THERE THAT PEOPLE WILL PAY FOR....., THEY GET BIG THOUGH...

michael... i think you didn't read the hole post...

i'm buying the rays now because a project like this is not built in a day, and this way i give them time to grow...

i have 7000 liters for now... it's plenty for them to grow till the end of the year ;)

the scobinas are about 150 dollars each

think they are real??

it's the same price as the mabrble and the otorongos, or the nazca or the motelo.
