Help Please ASAP

Hang on...Which species is this pleco? If the fish is dying, euthanasia would be the last thing.
Not 100% sure lookes like hypostomus or maybe bolivianus I don't know them that well and my books suck Sold as common pleco ??????
I'm going across town to checkout the pleco and see what it looks like please keep the info coming in if this is an attack then what for treatment ? I'll be back soon thanks everyone
I don't think bacteria could eat away at a cat like that in 24 hrs, it looks like trauma induced by the pleco, just like the other folks mentioned previously.
Now u have a couple things to consider.
Your fish is majorly stressed, no to mention in extreme pain.
Also, cats with no scales get burned by strong meds.
So, what to do?
1. Medicate
2. Euthanize
3. If you don't want to put him out of his misery, I would do 30% daily water changes.
By no means am I an expert, this is just my suggestion to you and I hope your cat makes it. Good Luck.
P.S. If you plan on medicating, may I suggest you do 20 min. medicated baths in a bucket with an air stone instead of leaving the meds in your tank. Although the moving back and forth from tank to bucket is stressful in itself, it will help reduce any unwanted additional side effects from the medication.
