HELP PLEASE! Bloated eel with purple veins showing!

Sorry to ask again, but I want to be sure. Is salt really okay for weather loaches? I've always been warned by loach sites about salt and loaches. Sorry to ask, but I they're so precious to me.

Because they were eating all the food, I mived them to the 55g, that's where they've been for a few weeks. Should that be about 3 big tbsp instead?

Just do 2, that should be fine.

Alright. And even though loach sites say salt + loach = bad, it's still okay if it's just that much?

that little amount will not affect anything. Make sure you blend it into water and dissolve the salt rocks before adding it though.

Alright. Thank you, I'll do anythng to keep my fish safe. If it was a case of the food being too big then I'll cut it fine from now on.

Do you think the bloating has been impaction the whole time? Could they really live a month impacted?

It's hard to say for sure, but this would just be my best guess considering the pictures. Let us know in like 3-4 days how things are.
