I have to get ride of 1,500 tadpoles out of a 3,000 gal pond would perfer to do so naturally all thats in the pond is plants and the tadpoles so a trap or maybe a fish to eat them something that could eat large numbers of them fast the tadpoles are small now 1/4 to 1/2 in how about like 12 pike cichlids, oscars, jags something cheap that can be house in doors later anyone know of anything that eats tadpoles turtles and garter snakes will just leave off in to the woods where the grass is greener I think any way thanks for info

Any Cichlid will gladly polish off those tadpoles...especially an Oscar, Jags will eat and kill, and I'm not sure about Pikes...probably do the same :)

You've only got a couple of weeks left with them if they're that big.

I agree with the others, how about catching some local natives, bream, SMB or cats?
