No QT again ? lol.

All joking aside I like the Tinfoils , I found a similar group a few months back but i think my tank temps were higher/o2 levels levels were lower then the tank they came out of. I introduced them too quickly and the shock took the whole school out they were fine for about 2 hours then all at the same time the school went belly the big arowana following them around probably didn't help with the stress.(I also didn't QT... whats the old saying... do as i say not as i do right ha ha ha). I tried to save them but they didn't come around , not a complete waste though my monitor lizard enjoyed a nice feast of fresh fish lol

No I did not QT because I know the guy I got them from and know that they were very healthy and free of disease also they came from my friends tank which was room temp same as mine is. they are eating like champs and swim in schooled formation and are very large. I am done now buying anything at all. I just needed dithers and now I have them so im good for a while lol.
AS A SIDE NOTE my Channa are doing great full color has come back and there is no sign of stress or anything. they are alone in the 35 gallon and will remain that way till big enough to be introduced to the 120.

i think it may have been fighting also . my boys never fight when im around and during the day. i herd them a few times after i left the garage at night baging into the tank so i peek around the corner and found they were fighting but as soon as they see me they usualy stop. im glad that everthing worked out for u i hope these guys get huge for u they are awesome fish not that i have that breed . but i tell ya my boys are the coolest fish i have ever raised and i know what u went through being stressed and all.i went through the same thing when i moved them to ther new tank they were beat up really bad one of them even had a chunk the size of a nickel out of his/her head from jumping in the rubermaid but all it took was perfect water conditions and they healed right up .anyways glad to hear they are doing better
